Stampin' Up! Foxy Friends

I finally got to use the Foxy Friends bundle from the new Stampin' Up! catty.  I think this bundle is going to be a huge favourite for a lot of people.  It is very versatile and can make a variety of different woodland animals and it has a matching DSP Paper Stack as well.  Yippee!  Here is my first go at using this very cute and adorable set.

Isn't he just foxy.  Ha ha lol.  I love him to bits, so going to use this set a lot.  I have seen a huge amount of gorgeous cards that everyone has made using this set and I love them all.

Hope you love my little foxy friend.

Stampin' Up! Picture Perfect Tamie White Case

Hi all.  Well it has been a cold start to the school holidays here in Queensland, totally the right weather to be indoors making cards.  Today my card is one that I cased from Tamie White.  Here is Tamie's card.

And here is the one that I cased from her.

I used the same stamp set and DSP pack to get a different look.  For the window frame I first stamped on Whisper White cardstock with the Watercolor Wash Stamp then I ran it through the Big Shot using the Home & Hearth Thinlets.  I also had to use an old paper doily from the last catty as I do not have any of the new ones yet.  This card has a bit of fussy cutting in it, but I don't mind fussy cutting, I find it quite soothing(although my arthritic fingers don't appreciate it lol).  Underneath the window I used the second largest Lots of Labels Framelits.

I really love love love Tamie's cards she is awesome don't forget to check out her awesome blog and she has a lot of video's to watch as well.

Hope you enjoy your week

Stampin' Up! Swirly Scribbles Minnie Mouse Card

Hi all, hope you are having a lovely weekend.  It is nice and sunny and warm up here in sunny Queensland, love winter here so mild (for most of it anyway).  Today I made a card for little niece for her upcoming birthday in August.  I have seen a few Mickey and Minnie cards on Pinterest made with Swirly Scribbles so I thought that I would come up with my own version of it.

I love the new Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper especially the Whisper White and Melon Mambo little hearts sheet.  This DSP also has matching Washi Tape which is so cute, gotta love the Washi tape lol.  I stamped Minnies's face in Archival Basic Black Ink and then sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder over it and used the heat tool to make the face nice and shiny.  I really hope Ashlee will like this card but knowing a typical 3 year old it will be ripped in seconds.  Ha ha.

I am just loving all the different cards people are making with the Swirly Scribbles Stamp Set, there are a lot of clever inventive people out there.  Hope you enjoy this card.

Have a great weekend

Hi all hope you are having a great start to the weekend.  Yesterday I decided to use one of the new Hostess sets that will be available in the new catalogue called Love You Lots.  This set is so cute and adorable I just love it.  I also used my new favourite Designer Series Paper Affectionately Yours which has gorgeous Night of Navy in it.

Isn't the paper gorgeous?  I also used the matching washi tape that goes with it, I just love the whole set.  Only another few days before the catty becomes available for order I can't wait.  Hope you enjoy this sneak peak at one of the new Hostess sets.

Swirly Bird Stamp Set

Next month is when the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue is available to order from.  This year there are sooooo many new goodies to get I am having trouble deciding which ones to get first.  Lucky Stampin' Up! demo's got to order some of the goodies during the May pre-order.  My favourite set has to be the Swirly Bird stamp set and the matching dies Swirly Scribbles.

I decided to use the set to make some Swirly Flowers using one of the new In-colour's Sweet Sugarplum.  It is a gorgeous colour and matches very well with Perfect plum and Elegant Eggplant, and I used the new In-colour Emerald Envy with Cucumber Crush for the leaves.  All of the new colours are so beautiful this year, I am really enjoying using them.

Well I hope you enjoy this 'sneak peak' from the new catty.  Enjoy your weekend.

Girl Minion Card

Hi everyone, the other day I was browsing through pinterest and saw this cute Minion card by Adeline from Chic Stamping and thought I would try my own version of it.  Now I know that girl Minions do not naturally occur in nature but I thought I would give the little guys a break and give them some hope.  This is Adeline's card.

Isn't it cute!

And this is the one that I did for my niece Ashlee's 3rd birthday.

I thought it turned out ok, but my children called it not cute and ugly.  Oh well.  Hopefully my niece will like it though.

Hope you have a great week
